Wip Wednesday 9.4

I'm working on several amigurumi's this week. I'm adding lots of elephants to my etsy shop by the end of the weekend. I also started brainstorming on new designs! I'll share teaser pictures as soon as I get some crocheting done.

I'm participating in 3 Mystery KAL's! The first is Mystery KAL by al-abrigo. Its the first mystery KAL I am participating in but its not much of a mystery since it started weeks ago and I already peeked at the spoiler threads. I'm actually on Clue #3 now but forgot to take a picture. Its a semicircular shawl and I am loving it so far!

The second is the Autumn Mystery KAL by Susanna IC. Its starting next week and I still can't decide which yarn to use and whether to use beads or not. I'm also going to be needing my size 6 needles which are currently in use for my other mystery KAL so I'm hoping to finish it as soon as possible so I can start this one.

The third mystery KAL starts October 1st. For this one I will be making holiday dishcloths. We will be getting 3 patterns a week for 4 weeks so I'm going to have to go yarn shopping which I haven't done in a while so I'm excited! Lastly I extended my Aquatic Animals CAL to end on November 11th! There is still plenty of time to enter!

FO Friday 9.3

This week I finished 3 amigurumi! I'm on a mission to finish up wips I started months ago and I started with a tiny owl I started back in May. Designed by Freshstitches. 

Second I finished up hoops which is a Hallmark character designed by Chloe Hatzigianneli. 

Lastly I finished one of the elephants I started for my CAL but never got around to finishing. I still have one more to finish but I will be using that one to film some tutorials so I will finish it this weekend.

FO Friday 9.2

Happy Friday!! This week I have two finished shawls to share.

The first one is the Bella Botanica Shawl by Karen Strauss. I started this shawl months ago but didn't get a chance to finish it until now. Its the biggest shawl I've made and the first one using Lace weight yarn. I'm going to have to block it again to get the edging right but other than that I love how it turned out. 

The second shawl is the Annis Shawl by Susanna IC. I really enjoyed this shawl and its the first I made from the bottom up using short rows. Mine is much smaller and has a couple of modifications. First I used a size 6 needle instead of 8. The other modifications I followed from another person who made the shawl, she added an eyelet row at the top and she didn't wrap and turn instead she just slipped the first stitch purl wise. Wip Wednesday 9.2

This weekend I've been working on several projects, 2 amigurumi and 2 shawls! 

First I started on the hammerhead shark I will be making for my CAL. I'll be doing several tutorial videos with this animal so I've decided to work on it before finishing the octopus.

I'm also adding new items to my shop so I'm working on another fox since the last one sold within a week. 

Third, I started two shawls during the weekend. The first is a shawl that is done from the bottom up with short rows. I took this picture earlier and have been working on it all day and its already half way done! I have a feeling I will finish it by Friday!

The second shawl is top down with some lacing but mainly stockinette. I'm sure it will be finished soon.

Fo Friday 9.1

Happy Friday!! This week I don't have any finished items but here is my August Wrap-Up! I only finished 4 items but have a lot of wips to finish so my main goal for the weekend and next week is to finish up all my wips starting with a shawl I started months ago and its still not finished.

Wip Wednesday 9.1

This week I am working on a pink Octopus for my Aquatic Animals CAL! 

I don't have much else to show for now but I will be working on a lot of things this week. I am working on a secret project for my niece that I won't share until its finished. I'm also going to participate in the Freshstitches CAL and I'm working on tutorial videos for my patterns. :)
