WIP Wednesday: Mystery Animal

This is my 100th post! :D

This week I am doing some catching up. A couple weeks ago the Freshstitches Mystery Animal CAL started and I hadn't gotten around to working on it until this past weekend. The first 3 clues were instructions for crocheting all the parts of the animal. The last clue will be released on Thursday with instructions on sewing all the parts together. I can't wait to see what it is even though a lot of people in the Freshstitches Ravelry group think its a dog. I can see why they would think that. I used Hobby Lobby I love this yarn to make mine. The reason being that it was what I had already available at home.

I've also been working on my Mother's Crocodile Stitch Triangle Shawl. I haven't had to much time to work on it because I've been out Christmas Shopping. Even though I already bought my gifts I was helping my dad and brother with theirs. I just love shopping for gifts. I have also started on another handmade gift for my mother. Its a surprise so I won't be posting a picture until after Christmas.

I know I just shared with ya'll a purchase from KnitPicks a couple of weeks ago but I did get some yarn during the Cyber Monday Sale and it got here on Saturday. I was so excited to see it waiting for me when I got home. I wasn't expecting it until Monday. I ordered from KnitPicks three times last month. SO this will be the last time I will share yarn for the remainder of the year and the beginning of next year. No more yarn for me for a while. At least until I use up some of the yarn I already have. I tried to organize and store my yarn Saturday afternoon and I have no more room for more. :)

If you want to check out what new items were added to my shop since the opening check out my Merchandise Monday Post!
