Looking back

Happy New Year! I can't believe I have been blogging for a year now. My first blog post was exactly one year ago today. I posted 108 post, have 21 people following me and had close to 9,000 views in 2012. We will have to see what happens this year. I did a 2012 Wrap-Up post on Monday sharing most of my FO's and UFO's of 2012 if you want to check that out. I finished a total of 124 projects (82 were amigurumi) and also included a list of my goals for 2013.

Blog New look

If you visit my blog frequently you may have noticed my blog look is always changing and that's because I haven't been able to find the look I want that matches with my Etsy shop banner and business cards. Right now if you look at my banner it looks a little weird. So the person I bought my Etsy shop banner is Sara Rubendall. She has an Etsy shop and designs several different items. She was having a sale this past weekend and so I went ahead and bought her Premade DIY Blogger Graphics that match my Etsy shop banner. I probably won't get it for another couple of days but its exciting to know my blog will finally look good. I also got the Facebook Cover package that will match with everything else for my Facebook Fan page. (Please like if you haven't already!) So I'm excited about that.

Etsy Shop

I'm making plans for new items I will be adding to my Etsy shop in the next couple of months. I'm up to 24 items in my shop right now. I will be listing another one later on today. I finished two amigurumi this weekend that I will be sharing on Friday and will also be listing in the next couple of days. 2012 UFO's

While looking at my UFO's from 2012 there are a few that are at the top of my list for finishing. I'm thinking that If I am able to finish 1-2 of them a month by the end of this year I should have finished most of them. There are several that are only missing small details so those shouldn't take long if I make some time to work on them. One of my goals for this year is to finish every project I start. (The pictures above and below are showing some of the ones I want to work on first.)

WIP's

This week I worked on finishing the dragon and deer I started last week. Both are finished and will be shared on Friday! I also worked on the Hermit crab but ran out of yarn so I was unable to finish the second claw. Once I get some more yarn it will get finished. Today I started making a platypus. I was going to start the year off making a dragon but changed my mind. I'm going to try to finish this one for Friday but realistically it probably won't get finished. :)
