WIP Wednesday 2.3

Hello! I am in a really good mood this week and I have a lot to share!

First, I'm excited because I'm almost finished with my Classified Cupid project. I finished crocheting all the parts and all that's left is to attach them. The only day this week that I had a chance to go to the post office to mail it would have been Monday but it was closed so I won't be mailing it until this coming Monday meaning I won't be sharing it until maybe next Friday. It all depends on whether the person gets it by then. But I thought it would be okay to share this small peek.

Second, I couldn't wait to finish the classified cupid project and I opened up my Freshstitches kit club package that I had said I would not open until I finished the other project. I got started on it right away and since its a small mosquito it really didn't take long. I'm sure it will be finished for FO Friday. I've actually made some progress after I took this picture and I only have 2 more legs to finish.

Third, I saw on another blog earlier this month that since it was February the month the groundhog comes out of hibernation then she would take out her projects that had been in hibernation as well and finish them. Well we still have a little over a week left in February so I thought why not do the same. So I took out some Amigurumi that I had in hibernation since last year and am working towards getting them finished before the end of the month. I'm thinking some may be finished this Friday and the rest will be shared next Friday. I finished crocheting all the parts of the purple owl Tuesday night so all I have left to do is attach them. The light purple monster only needs attaching also. The other three still need a lot of work which I hope to finish this weekend.

Fourth, I got started on my Entrelac Baby Blanket on Monday. This project will definitely take more than a week to finish so I will continue to work on it next week. The goal is to finish it by the end of next week but I'm still not so sure. I really like how its turning out. The pattern is really simple and its one of those projects you don't have to think about. Its Tunisian simple stitch all the way though which gives me a chance to keep practicing Tunisian Crochet. By the way I finished my mom's shawl and will share pictures on Friday!

Lastly, I posted my 31 days to get organized wrap-up on Monday. If you want to check it out here is the link.

Don't forget to come back for Finished Object Friday!

  4. Wow you have a lot going on! I love it! The blanket is beautiful. I have wanted to do a blanket for a long time now, but it seems so daunting - especially considering how long it takes me to knit anything! Great job :-)

  7. It's such a great idea to take projects out of hibernation in honor of groundhog's day! I should force myself to do the same. Your progress looks wonderful. And, it definitely seems you have a lot of things to keep busy with.

  11. LOL, even though that is an amigurumi mosquito, I still got a shiver. Can you siphon out some of that creative, productive mojo and ship it over here. I love how your love for amigurumi is boundless and how each one is full of character and personality.
